Fall-to-Fall retention is a primary metric in regards to Amarillo College’s commitment to increasing the number of students who complete a certificate, degree, and/or transfer to a 4-year institution while focusing on decreasing the time it takes to complete a degree. The most accurate way to measure time to completion is to base it on First-Time-In-College (FTIC) cohorts so we track retention based on the same cohorts.
